The trailer for the upcoming film ‘Challengers’ starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist has dropped and it has already gotten the masses talking. The movie directed by Luca Guadagnino features the stars in a love triangle and is set to be released on September 15, 2023.
Zendaya is producing the movie along with Amy Pascal and the duo have previously worked together on the sets of Spiderman: No Way Home. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is the distribution company and Challengers will air on Amazon Prime Video.
In Challengers, Zendaya stars as pro tennis player ‘Tashi’ wife of ‘Art’ (Mike Faist). Following a losing streak, Tashi signs Art up for a Challenger event, however, she later learns that Art will have to play against Patrick (Josh O’Connor), her former lover and Art’s ex-best friend.
Zendaya’s Love Triangle
Zendaya has got the temperature rising after her steamy love affair with Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist. In the trailer, Tashi is seen as a young tennis prodigy and she rises the ranks, she forms a relationship with up-coming players, Art and Patrick.
In the trailer, a young teen Tashi is seen getting intimate with Art and Patrick.
Years later, she is now married to Art and also his coach. Art, a grand slam champion is currently on a losing streak and Tashi encourages him to take part in the Challenger series. She believes this will be a good comeback for him, However, things go haywire when she realizes that Art’s next opponent is Patrick.
The film revolves around how Tashi faces her past and what would the consequences of the match be.

Off-screen, Zendaya’s relationship is not as complicated as Tashi’s. She and Tom Holland have been going strong and even tho their relationship has been kept secretive, the couple often post each other on social media.
Fans were however quick to make fun of Tom after the trailer had some pretty steamy scenes between the three. While it’s ordinary to see actors get intimate on set, Twitter users were quick to point otherwise.
