The first season of Captain Tsubasa 2018 aired from April 2018 to April 2019, with a total of 52 episodes. The series was simulcast by Crunchyroll, which also released it on DVD and Blu-ray in four volumes with English and Japanese audio options. Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Storyline

Captain Tsubasa is a popular anime series based on the manga of the same name by Yōichi Takahashi. The series follows the adventures of Tsubasa Ozora, an 11-year-old soccer prodigy who dreams of winning the FIFA World Cup for Japan. The first season of the anime aired in 2018 and adapted the manga’s Elementary School arc and part of the Middle School arc. The second season, which is expected to premiere in October 2023, will cover the rest of the Middle School arc and the Junior Youth arc.
