Camila Mendes who plays Veronica Lodge in ‘Riverdale’ is all set to say goodbye to the show which is coming to an end. The seventh and final season of ‘Riverdale’ will finish airing on August 2023 on The CW.
Camila Mendes has now officially wrapped filming on the set of Riverdale. In an Instagram post, the 28-year-old actress posted a behind-the-scenes along with her costars, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, and others.
The popular American series is based on the characters from Archie Comics. The show is set in the town of ‘Riverdale’ and follows the mysteries surrounding the town. Throughout its multiple seasons, the show features murder mysteries, serial killers, family secrets, cults, and is now finally coming to an end.

In a heartwarming post dedicated to the cast and crew of Riverdale, Camila Mendes opens up on how the show has been for her.
“there’s no caption or photo dump that can illustrate what an emotional experience it’s been filming our last episode of riverdale. i’m not just saying goodbye to a TV show, i’m saying goodbye to an entire life i created in vancouver, to a transformative period of time that shaped me as an adult, to a community of people who have seen the best and worst of me over the course of seven intense seasons.”
7 entire seasons and it’s for sure difficult to let go of Camila Mendes after being such an integral part of the show. “it doesn’t matter how ready you are to move on, goodbyes are painful, and walking away from this show will be a process of mourning for all of us.” she added.
She also appreciated the loyal fans of Riverdale who have been watching her for years.
“to our loyal fans, thank you for actively supporting me on this journey with all the gifts, flowers, and balloons. the handmade art and handwritten letters. i have endless appreciation for you guys. thank you for showing veronica the love that she deserves.”
Last, but not least, she also made a special mention of everyone on the set of Riverdale who has been a part of this beautiful journey.

Camila Mendes even got a tattoo of Veronica’s signature gemstone (pearl) to commemorate the end of an era. She posted the images of her new tattoo on her Instagram Story.
