On the official Twitter account of the anime adaptation of “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” (jap.: “2.5 Jigen no Ririsa”) it was announced that it will start in the course of 2024. You can watch a first trailer further down in this article.
2.5 Dimensional Seduction: Anime being created at J.C. Staff
“2.5 Dimensional Seduction” is being directed by Hideki Okamoto (“I’ve Always Liked You”) at studio J.C. Staff. Takao Yoshioka (“Your Lie in April”) is handling series composition, while Tomoyuki Shitaya (“Atelier Ryza”) is contributing character design. Hiroaki Tsutsumi (“Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie”) is responsible for the musical score.
The main roles feature Junya Enoki (Yuuji Itadori in “Jujutsu Kaisen”) as Masamune Okumura, and Kaori Maeda (Lexia of Alceria in “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World”) as Ririsa Amano. Akari Kitou (Nezuko Kamado in “Demon Slayer) voices the character Mikari Tachibana.
The manga series of the same name is by Yuu Hashimoto and has been published on the “Shounen Jump +” website since June 2019. The publisher Shueisha released 15 volumes so far. The work is available through Seven Seas Entertainment with English translation.

Storyline:
Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club claims that he has no interest in real girls. He is a typical otaku who is obsessed with a sexy 2D manga character named Lilliel. Then he meets Lilysa, whom he is asked to photograph in her cosplays. At the same time, her favorite cosplay is his beloved Lilliel.
